Measures the blood level of cortisol, a hormone produced by the adrenal glands, in your blood during the morning hours, typically between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. This test helps evaluate how well your adrenal glands are functioning and can provide insights into conditions related to stress, adrenal insufficiency, or Cushing's syndrome.

What to Expect

Root labs are drawn at Quest Labs available nationwide. Fasting is required for most labs. Please check for a location near you before purchasing.
