Full Stack Software Developer

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a full time senior software engineer to join our team and build products that both improve the workload of our clinicians and create a better, more engaging customer experience. You will work collaboratively with a team of doctors, dietitians and operations to enhance our existing MVP and develop new features.  You will be involved in the development of server/OS/desktop/mobile website applications and services including researching, designing, developing specifications for designing, writing, modifying, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintaining source code. You will also have direct or related involvement in designing related databases, user interfaces, integration to other systems/applications, content, or multimedia processes. Work includes analysis and design to post-production processes, quality assurance, maintenance, and documentation.

40 hours/week remote position within the United States.

Salary: $100,000-120,000

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of secure software development
  • Experience with Databases, API, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, React, secure data storage, data layers and algorithm programming
  • Experience with Front End and Back End build of custom website and tech-enabled service software
  • Highly advanced skills associated with software specification, design, modification, implementation, and deployment of large-scale scope.
  • Knowledge in operating system design.
  • Knowledge in database design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Twilio integrations
  • Knowledge of calendar integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how systems can support those needs. Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans.
  • Working knowledge of GitHub, Bitbucket.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members from our clinical team to build products that serve both clinicians and customers.
  • Able to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with custom E-commerce and check out carts through multiple browsers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Experience in healthcare application development.
  • Excellent project leadership and management skills.
  • Advanced experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.
  • Advanced experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and EMR integrations.
