Customer Service & Production Assistant 

About Root Farmacy®
Root Farmacy is a doctor and dietician designed meal prep service. Our meals are curated by dieticians and used in clinical plans for solving health problems. Our business model is fast paced and ever-growing. We currently operate a meal prep service for local customers and overnight shipping across the midwest.

Job Description 
The customer service and production assistant will work alongside the Farmacy Operations Manager & culinary team to package, label, and pack meals for local pick-ups and shipments. This also includes providing excellent customer service to our subscribers and prospective clients.

Responsibilities
  • Providing excellent customer service: engage walk-in guests promptly, personally, and with the goal of opening the conversation and ensuring they feel welcome.
  • Assist in sales of supplements
  • Maintain a knowledge of Root’s clinical and educational offerings and make referrals as needed. 
  • Preparing production materials for the week, such as stamping labels, prepping bags, and counting meal containers.
  • Learn to use and successfully operate a flat sealer and blast chiller as part of production. Perform quality checks during flat sealing and labeling to ensure the highest quality and consistency in packing. 
  • Cover meal pick-up hours and communicate regularly with Farmacy subscribers, monitor Farmacy inbox, text and phone calls. 
  • Operate Square POS to sell supplements, meals, and pantry items including cash and card sales. 
  • Clean and organize front of house area as needed including wiping counter tops, tables, cooler doors, dusting shelves, restocking supplements, removing trash and recycling daily

  • Part time: available Monday & Tuesday 11am-6pm, Thursday 12pm-4pm
Compensation: hourly, $16-18/hr
