Your health is your most valuable asset. It profoundly affects everything else in your life including your relationships, your professional and academic success, and your happiness.

The best results are achieved when you are an active and willing participant. That’s why we want to make sure you’re ready.

How willing are you to do the following? (5 stars being the highest)

In the spirit of honesty, transparency, and respect, we need to discuss costs of a true functional medicine root cause approach.

If you join Root, you’ll be joining a practice where the doctors have less than 3% the volume of a typical medical doctor’s number of patients. We will think deeply about your case before and after your visit and review your case with our dedicated team of functional medicine experts. On average, your team will spend about 4 extra hours a month outside of your visits thinking about your case, researching for your unique case, reviewing your intake forms and reviewing detailed functional labs, and troubleshooting any bumps in your healing course.

This level of care requires an investment. Please acknowledge the following:

Your monthly plan fee covers optional visits each month, email access to our specialists, and part of the initial lab panel split up into smaller monthly payments. There is a 10% discount for paying for your entire monthly plan upfront.

Optional additional functional labs are important to reveal root causes. Costs for these tests are outside of Root fees.
If cost is an issue, we accept HSA/FSA for monthly visit costs and labs. We also accept for those in need of financial assistance. Or, you can consider working only with our functional dietitian nutritionists in a monthly plan, who can order most functional testing with the exception of the dutch test.

We see functional medicine as an investment over an expense for long term health.
